Toronto the retarded

By now most of you have heard of the retarded efforts displayed by city hall in Toronto to appeal in greater part to American Tourists (not that anybody picked up on the anti-American slant of a left-wing city hall btw... or our weasel move to avoid the Iraq War et all..), by a massive $4 million rebranding and advertising campaign.

I won't get into the details here because it would be repeating the BS of the left wing media and city hall and as you readers of this blog know (is infrequent these days unfortunately...), I always like to slag the Toronto REd Star newspaper. But, the obvious 'King has no clothes on syndrome here..' is far too obvious to just be ignored I think.

Will the intelligent citizens of Toronto wake up and rid us of this lefty gang aka Mr. Miller next election? or will they continue to pursue the good life and higher property values and not give a shit about anything?

It's not nice living in a city that makes one long for NYC when it comes to mom and apple pie and a tear in your eye!!

Are we a lion or a lamb?

Since I have not watched TV once in two weeks, I have probably seen less of the horror that has been unleashed in London than most of you. I know London fairly well, having been there on several occasions and having spent several weeks there as a tourist. In London I walked everywhere rather than take a bus or tube train as I wanted to see the city. I thought the subway system was a bit constricted in places and the hugh crowds on the frequent and fast moving buses during rush-hour would give one cause for concern. But I am not shocked at what happened... was expecting it actually. Will such a thing happen in Canada? Or are we in the back pockets of the terrorists.. the liberals that is? My condolences to the British, a fierce, strong and proud people that know what tragedy is despite the heady heights of their recent empire. May God bless them and allow them to show the resolve that has always stood them in good stead in past. Funny but I think of the weak kneeded weasels running my country and my knees start to shake...

Have we been invaded yet?

To understand what his happening today, one must understand certain military tenets of warfare. These include:

-Infiltrate the enemy country with advance forces and spies.
-Pre-position supplies close to the anticipated battleground.
-Destroy the enemy’s will to resist.
-Destroy the enemy population’s morals and morale.
-Sew confusion among the enemy population.
-Cut lines of communication.
-Create diversions.
-Control all information and media outlets.
-Attack on many fronts.
-Destroy the enemy’s capability to wage war.
-Reduce or destroy enemy’s military bases.
-Strike only when ready and when enemy is at his weakest.

In the intelligence world, what we do is take pieces of information, like pieces of a puzzle, and “put them on the wall and see what picture develops.” Lord Wellington of Waterloo once said “I’ve spent my entire military career wondering what the chap on the other side of the hill was doing.” In intelligence circles, information gathering is chief among tasks, followed by “okay, what are they up to?”
-the guy who wrote this was fearing for the future of the US vis a vis China/Russia. But if he looked at Canada he really would be horrified.
